THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SURROGACY
It takes someone special to reach out and offer to help another in such a personal and generous way.
To ensure the optimal chance of delivering a healthy baby to the intended parents as well as a healthy experience for the surrogate mother we require that all potential surrogates have been free from smoking for at least nine months before starting the surrogacy process due to the risk of adverse reproductive outcomes.
Studies have shown that smoking makes it harder to conceive and lowers fertility levels. Smoking also reduces the chances of IVF succeeding. It’s thought nicotine reduces a woman’s fertility by affecting the production of hormones that are necessary for pregnancy. In addition, long-term effects of smoking include miscarriage, bleeding, premature birth, and low birth weight. It’s also linked to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), in which infants suddenly die of no obvious cause.
We regret not being able to work with you at this time. Once you have been nicotine free for nine months, please contact us again, and we will be able to provide you with more information about our surrogacy program. If you would like to discuss this any further, please feel free to contact our office at any time. We appreciate your generosity and wish you all the best. Thank you, again, for your willingness to help a family in such a special way.
Even though surrogacy may not be right for you, there are other ways you can help. We pay $1,000 for quality referrals. Click the button below for all of the details.
